How A Perpetrator Is Born

This DACT (dance and acting) piece explores the journey of a perpetrator. It showcases that most perpetrators are not BORN perpetrators, but are influenced by two key elements which are traditions and societal. These elements are portrayed by 'external arms' in the video.

We would like to acknowledge that the reason for domestic violence can be a complex and highly intersectional. A holistic and truly universal approach to prevention involves challenging not only gendered inequality but other kinds of structural inequalities, negative stereotypes and discrimination.
